Vanessa Carlton comes out
• 03 Aug 2010
I apologize, this is beyond late for this segment. Vanessa Carlton came out as a bisexual last month and we're so proud of her bravery. She is truly an inspiration to all.
Feel better, Vanessa!
• 09 May 2010
Vanessa was reportedly bitten by her neighbor's pitbull while out for a jog. We hope that she is safe and feels better soon.
Apologies once again. Vanessa hasn't been doing much lately, but I wanted to let the fans know that I do check in with her career. At the moment, there hasn't been any new pieces on her, but will keep the site up. We hope to see Vanessa more, though!
New Concert Date
• 29 Jan 2010
Apparently, Vanessa is scheduled to be performing:
Music of the Who show at Carnegie Hall on March 2nd. That show includes a lot of big names and City Winery regulars. They include Living Colour, Robyn Hitchcock, Matt Nathanson, Sondre Lerche, Postelles, Bettye LaVette, Mose Allison, The Smithereens, Gaslight Anthem, Bob Mould (of Hüsker Dü), Fab Faux, Asaf Avidan, Willie Nile, Vanessa Carlton...
Vanessa Carlton, Ryan Miller of Guster and The Naked Brothers Band plan to take part in a Beatles ukulele festival. The Beatles Complete On Ukulele Festival will be December 6 in New York. The entire Beatles catalog will be covered that day on ukulele. Anyone who shows up early with a ukulele will get free admission and a place in the uke ensemble that will open the show with two as-yet-unrevealed Beatles songs. Sixteen Yoko Ono impersonators will be on hand because the organizers decided as a joke to donate proceeds to Ono. Last year's festival benefited Warren Buffett.
I just wanted to wish Ms.Carlton a wonderful 29th birthday! I apologize I haven't been the best with keeping this site up, but I plan to continue supporting her. Well, hope you enjoy the day, Vanessa!
